Big Loss in Support for Rejoin in 10th Anniversary Month

As was covered on our social media yesterday evening, monthly polling by BMG Research for The i Newspaper has shown a significant drop in support for rejoining the EU against staying out, following what has now been weeks of relitigating the debate due to the Labour leadership challenges. The team here at Britain Unbound have appreciated the more honest debate in the media on the real implications and obligations of rejoin, which have no doubt precipitated this drop in support.

EU Youth Unemployment Figure Rises

The latest unemployment figures have been released for the EU and the Eurozone, which show an increase on the same month last year. Nearly 3 million EU citizens under the age of 25 are considered unemployed, which gives an indication both of why the EU is so keen to have a Youth Mobility scheme with the UK, and also why the UK should avoid such a scheme like the plague.

Plans Ramp Up For Rwanda-Style Agreements from EU

It was announced formally late yesterday evening, that the EU Council and Parliament had come to an agreement on the use of so-called return hubs - deportation centres in third countries akin to the Rwanda agreement implemented and then removed by the UK government.

The team here at Britain Unbound are looking forward to the Venn diagram of pro-EU anti-Rwanda commentators having to also judge the EU for their actions, or else be seen to be hypocrites.
