Britain Unbound can exclusively reveal that, in just the last few days, the London Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) have in response to a Freedom of Information request confirmed their recorded approximate attendance figures for the Rejoin EU marches that took place in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The difference between the narrative given by the march organisers, and the view of the MPS, is stark.
To quote the FoI response verbatim, it reads:
"I have decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
- 22 October 2022 - Approximately 5,000 to 7,000
- 23 September 2023 - 5,000
- 28 September 2024 - 5,000
Please note that attendance estimates are not intended to be precise counts and should be treated as approximate figures."
The organizers of the march, National Rejoin March, have previously claimed much higher attendance figures - citing expected attendance as a proxy for actual attendance.
